Better still if you can go to the Magistrates court at Telford on Monday to show your support.

At a guess this is why:-

"Police insist that the meeting, which is not an organised event, has become too big for the venue and say their action was prompted by complaints by local residents."

I read the original article regarding this (and the subsequent replies) on the MCN website, & I have to say that (& this is purely from what I've read - NO 1st HAND KNOWLEDGE) it sounds like its an accident waiting to happen. Little or no organisation evident - 700+ bikes - limited parking - people walking around in the road to get to & from the bar - not good in my opinion.

Then, when the police decided that enough was enough & tried to break the meeting up, the crowd turned on them with bottles & glasses etc - REAL SENSIBLE !!

you would have to visit the wheel it is organized, the owner has taken on 3more car parks thats 4 in total and hired people to tell bikers where to park in an organized manner i do agree there is a lot of bikes 1500 to 2000 but that GOOD right? and to date there has never been any accidents!!!! after all if you wait in a church yard long enough your bound to get an accident NO WHAT I MEAN! i'm sorry people but the police are really starting to **** me off lately! you only have to read the mcn every week to find out that the POLICE ARE ANTI BIKER!
if you read that midlands today news article right at the very bottom there has been a reply by and x cop that thinks the same.

This is just mad. Whats next? squires!?!?!

Theres no organisation at squires. 700+ bikes there, people crossing a main road all the time, bikes popping wheelies as they leave the pub - a really dangerous stunt given that there is a blind summit near by - and there have been numerous bikers killed here as they approach the pub.

Its a blanket 40 limit near the pub, yet most do 60-70.

Why hasnt this been closed down if they are working on that logic.

Its just plain stupid.

They should reopen the pub and give us somewhere to meet up - we aint hurting anyone.
