Think I'll stick to my removable visor inserts, best of both worlds anyway.

Carry your clear with you so you can change it there and then.

I think its just a fine, I dont think you can get points for it.

I have never been pulled for my visor, I think as long as you are not riding like a knob to draw attention to yourself the police will let it go. I have ridden past a police car with my dark visor on and both the police officers have clocked me but not stopped me for it. I think as well on a sunny day they would let it go to. Not sure how impressed they would be if you ride with it on when its lashing with rain or getting dark. Once I see that car drivers are begining to turn their lights on, I use that as I guide and swap for my clear visor.

I carry my clear one with me like Scoobs

this is not a B.A.S.A.T. approved post

As much as I like my Silver mirror on my Shoei and black on my Arai I'm thinking of getting a legal light tint for the Arai because as soon as it gets dark or rainy I'm screwed and when I head off for hols on bike cant be bothered to carry a spare.

Must be getting old and conforming....

Thanks - thought so but nice to hear it for someone else.

Yeah - I wasn't talking about being stupid or taking the ****, just that it would be nice to ride without shades on.

Where's a good place to get one on-line?

I rode past a few cops yesterday, bright sunshine, just a look was all I got.
Mind you like all cold blooded creatures they like to bask in the sun and not move much....
I can confirm that I also carry a spare clear visor.
