I have just brought my sv and the guy I brought it off has put a lovely scorpian exhaust on it however, I have been told there is no way this will pass the mot .. is this correct and is there a way around this? -

I do have the original exhaust but dont really want to change it over as I dont know how difficult this is and besides ... it sounds cool!!

check it over for any markings that say something like "Not for road use" or "Race use only" if it says that on it then it won't pass, otherwise it technically should.
Swapping it for your standard can is pretty simple, anyway. If it's a standard leverl can then it's whatever clamps hold the pipes on, undo the clamp for the hanger then put the stock in it's place with a connector pipe.
