The radiator on the K5 SV540 is about 2 inches smaller than the older models. How do we know this? When buying a radiator cover and trying to fix it on to the new bike it doesn't fit, Suzuki did'nt even know this!

I've read some posts on here where people are saying that SV's seem to run pretty hot. So how did Suzuki manage to reduce the radiator size without compounding the problem?

common knowledge at suzuki (so not sure who you spoke to!)that the 05 sv has a narrower but slightly deeper rad than the 04 bike..
You dont always have to go bigger to improve performance either ![]() ![]() |
