Default Mirrors for a naked sv

My mirror came off in my hand today when I tried to adjust it . (yep, I was moving and then didn't know what to do with it so I could grab the handle bars/breaks again ).

Should I stick with stock mirrors? and if so were is the best place to get a new right mirror, or are there alternatives which look a bit better (and are less prone to being snapped off).

Cheers in advance for any advice

All depends on whether you're after function or aesthetics. The standard Suzuki mirrors are extremely functional but expensive to replace. Most of the after-market mirrors out there are rubbish (I know, I've tried a few). However Heine Gericke do some quality yet cheap replacements.

Alternatively Honda and Kawasaki threads are the same if you fancy trying something different.

Cheers i'll look at the HK ones, pity there web site is down at the moment.

Function comes first but I'd like something a bit different, I will look at the honda and Kawasaki ones as well.

Napolean Bar-end mirrors change the look of a naked. I've got them and I'm a very happy camper. Sorry I don't do the picture thing. Maybe somebody could post a pic for you.
Cheers!

Yes but it makes your bike so wide that it limits your traffic filtering options and you also can't see a huge amount in them either. However if you only ride in uncongested areas then it's probably no problem.

I assume you mean these

http://www.oldbritts.com/70_201001.html

Unfortunately I spend an hour each day going through solid traffic, the mirror came off as I was putting it back after pulling it back so I could filter (van driver I had filtering past thought it was hilarious ) so these are probably not a good idea.

Outlandish ideas are welcome though
