Welllllll, i went, was good. I think that the SV is going to have some very stiff competition next year in the form of the ER6 and the GSR600, both stunning '1st' bikes IMHO. I managed to spend oooo, about £25 on some new indicators, and that was it. I could have spent a lot more.

Anyway, the bikes of the show for me

Honda CBF1000
Fazer Thou
GSXR 750
Cresent Gixer Thou Streetfighter
BMW 1200 naked thingy

I went along as well.. bought myself a second Autocom system Worked out cheaper with their half price kits to buy an entire system than headphones and a mic!

New visor, plus a front paddock stand... also had to stop myself from buying a link pipe for my Remus to fit the Ninja... I like my hearing thank you very much

I went but was pretty disappointed - nothing was particularly good value, and there weren't any freebies either.

Plus, I got to the "Offroad Experience" stand at 1001 and the bloody things had booked out already. Ditto the Yamaha supermotos at 1000 and 1300. And I was there on the Monday!

All in all an OK day but I don't think I'll bother again.

A second one??? intercoms are a great thing but I pitty any one who trys to put up with listening to me whilst riding.... tunning into "radio anna" is enough to drive anyone insane!!

I was looking at the back protectors whilst up there £70 for the forcefield back protectors sounds like a good deal but couldnt find one that fitted up there.. no small sizes

I was up on the first Saturday and it wasnt that busy at all just quiet enough not to have to wait to sit on bikes !!

Yep, a second one! I now have the battery powered one, and a bike powered one... so until I can be arsed to take the back end of the bike appart again, I shall use the quick n'easy one.. then fit the bell's n'whistles one when I get the chance...

I have a thing for gadgets

I was looking for waterproof boots while I was there... couldnt find anything that fitted my taste.. or plain fitted!!! Size 12 sports boots that actualy fit are a hard thing to find!

Glad I didnt buy too much.. as I now have money for this friday think Im going to have a drink or ten on another year notched up And I dont go to Swansea often.... so need to make sure I cant remember it either!

I went up and spent a little bit too much Bough leather jacket and some boots, plus a few little bits for the bike, indicators, tank protector, bar ends and dubble bubble.

Also got some new fixings for my abba stand

Was a good show, loads to see, I quite liked the kwak Z750 unfaired, was so comfortable.

Dainese do nice but a little pricey ones and seem to pride themselves on their range of sizes (kiss of death for a right sized one there ). The Dainese shop in Bristol is just after Old Market rounabout heading out Old Market way if youve not seen it. Between a betting shop, a knocking shop and a pub with net curtains what with it being Old Market (probably). The guy there is very helpful. He only shouts at you from years of riding loud bikes
