Default Damp Roads + Cool Tyres + Torquey Motor = Wahay!

I pulled away from some lights yesterday, turning left onto a dual carriage way, aiming to take the R/H lane in order to overtake the car that had been in front of me at the lights, and SIDEWAYS!! My bro-in-law was behind me and he said I was fairly leant over, and the back came out a looong way - and it certainly felt it.

I just wish I knew whether I truly saved it, or whether it sorted itself out. I know it went due to being on the throttle and not just a diesel spill, I know I was weighting the outside peg, and I know I didn't panic. So, perhaps the answer is a combination of the two? We'll never know, but it made me grin anyway!

Oh well, at least it gave us something to talk about seeing as we were out to test the just fitted Autocom with bike to bike.

Hiya Lee. I did say it made me grin!

So was that kiddie this week? Sounds like a real moment! Kudos for managing to save a front lock-up AND avoid that kid!
