Default Lands end to John Ogroats run

hi, im doing the run next may and have been offerd an sv650 to do it on.

is it a comfy tourer with a bit of poke or should i look for something bigger?

As above, sore @rse will happen

Usually happens to me after 150 or so miles.

Eventually inside of my legs ache too.

But as for poke, plenty!

All the best and have fun.

I did the run a few years ago for Charity and on the trip we had

SV650N
Yamaha R1
Honda Fireblade
ZZR1100
Honda CBR600
ZX7R

It's not a comfy tourer and is not the most pokey but it will be adequate. Depending on planned route you'll have more fun on certain sections than a rider on a big tourer with more poke would.

First 100 miles for me was a killer but once I worked out turning back was not an option I relaxed and enjoyed the rest of the trip. Enjoy!
