Quite right, there have been worse avatars on the site, and they have been removed. As with the brain picture, for the 2nd time.

Oh I'm sorry, I would have personally thought that some one such as yourself would have automatically realised that the post was regarded as not suitable once it had disappeared.

The other thing about the lack of PM. If I were to PM the person every time I edited or deleted a post. I would be spending more time sending PM's to people than moderating. On top of that I would not be enjoying the forum for myself.

If I had thought that it warranted the NEED to send a PM, I would have done so. I actually thought it was quite funny (as I did when I saw it the first time some number of years ago ). But was not acceptable for this forum.

Point 1 , the way this site has been performing lately , I was unsure wether is was a site fault or a Moderated deletion.

Point 2 , Is there really that much work involved in moderating :P if it takes that much of your time , perhaps you need to rethink about being a moderator

Point 3 , there have been many many posts on here that I would have described as not suitable , but cest la vie
