Default Nodding to 'smaller' bikes

Now I'm sure we all have our own ways of doing this, and I'm interested to know how others work this!

I never nod to mopeds (usually have chavs attached, yuck)

I'll nod to sportsbike style 125's like RS125s as long as they look sensible and not chavvy (lol)

But I won't nod to an RS50....

How do you all work on this?

(yes I'm bored)

Jake

it's Terrable, i used to complain that people never nodded at me when i rode my RS125 but now i am on the SV650 i tend not to nod at small bikes for the same reason as you.

The worst thing i ever did was nod at a pizza boy, nodded before i realized what he was (Kamakarzi chav)

People please forgive me

haha, well being an ex-pizza boy im used to not being nodded at.

But what annoys me, is when bikers on sports bikes or SV650-like bikes dont nod. They get my back right up lol

If it's a nice run I will nod at most things except Harleys (Hell if the sun's warm enough and I'm having a good time I'll nod at them too )

If you're inside the M25 I tend not to nod for fear of my neck wearing out, though I often have quick chats with peole at traffic lights.

Outside I nod when I can but not at scooters, or kamakazi "L" platers.

Most people out in this weather are "proper" bikers and tend to nod back. I've yet to have someone blank me (ie obviously see me wave and have no distraction/adequate time to nod back) in the snow.

I used to not nod at scooters (although I always did to 125s- learners need to be encouraged!), but provided they're wearing reasonably sensible kit, I do now.

Well its just that a RS50 came round the corner towards me this morning, I ignored him when he beeped at me and quite obviously tried to impress me by throttling it and zipping off at 35mph up the road screaming like a bee in a tin...

I nod to everyone including Scooters, Harleys and Police riders.

The only people I don't nod to are learners (becuase they can do without the distraction) and moped riders (because they don't count).
