Default Biking to Docklands

I've got to go visit a company in London Docklands tomorrow, they're very near to the London Arena. I've the choice of a train/tube in from Amersham or take the bike. Is docklands a difficult bit of London to get to if you are coming in on the A40, and is the parking round there problematic?

Thanks for any help,
Mike.

You should be able to get onto the north circular from the a40 and that will take you all the way to docklands. Not sure what it's like at peak times, but early and late should be quicker than marylebone road.

Im more than likely wrong, but I think its something close to this:

A40 all the way down to marleybone road, then down to commercial road, stright on, yes keep going your going to see some signs for docklands now down west india dock road....

type in Marleybone road (where the A40 ends) click from here and type docklands. You will see it really is a stright road,

google maps suggests a really weird route http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?daddr=...don+arena&cid=

try www.theaa.com it gives you the option to select places you wanted to go via

i think i'd go A40 to shepherds bush, then down the M41 to holland park r'bout, straight down holland road and keep going thru earls court onto the embankment. once on the embankment just keep going straight on until you get past st katherines dock and then follow sign s to docklands and london arena. if you are not too clued up on routes through london, that (i think) would be a relatively easy way to go.

Take the bike. The roads around the docklands is pretty much deserted now. Good chance to practise wheelies with out the bother of the law.

Although I had heard that they have laid grit all across the road to prevent all the stunting that used to take place there.

I usually go this way too. Its a pain on the train - too many changes.
