That's a great idea, BUT it'll only be of benefit if you have never actually made that mistake.
I did it, luckily I was just walking the bike backwards and thought the rear wheel had hit a bump, so I put a bit of **** power in it... AS SOON AS YOU HEAR THAT CRACK as the disc lock cracks the fairing on your front wheel and your heart sinks you realise that you will never do that again.

haha, yep.. Ive gone and wheeled my bike out of the garage and broke the mudguard

If you lock it o the rear disc, you're far less likely to drop the bike, FWIW.
Or you could try not being a forgetful a**e, that's what I eventually did ![]()
