Default smoke wen cold/and drinks alot of fuel help ...

since iv had my bike iv done about 90 miles and iv hadd to fill the tank up 3 times


is this right.??




also wen cold the bike smokes like hell loads of white smoke is this normal?

Does this go away when the bike warms up ? if so then yes its normal its just condensation ? Its blue smoke from your exhaust that you want to worry about

I dont know about the fueling thing, but it definately sounds like theres something wrong 3 tanks to 90 miles is not right at all IMHO

You don't say which sort of bike you've got, but if it's a curvy SV then one, (at least), of your chokes is probably stuck.

There are plenty of other possibilities but that's where I'd look first - if you've got a curvy.

This is a bit of a long shot, but as you have the other post about the clutch swishing noise, is it way overfull of oil??

With the engine not running and the bike held upright, the oil level should be more or less in the middle of the window, no higher.

If it's right up to the filler cap, then that's your problem!

Sounds like you might need someone who's a bit more experienced to have a look first, then there's plenty of time to learn as you go.
