Default swapping cans over, is it a problem

if you buy one slip on, and later decide to change for a differnt can as you fancy a different, stlye, sound or for mot, etc is it possible or is it a pain in the ass, just wondering, it may be a stupid question

Swapping a can only and keeping the link pipe of the can you're replacing could be a problem. Every manufacturer makes it's own type of mounting for a slip-on can and a link pipe that fits that can. You could also end up with a link pipe that's too narrow or too wide for the new can.

If you're replacing can and link pipe for a new slip-on that shouldn't be a too big of a problem. Most exhaust manufacturers use the same spot on the stock exhaust where to cut it. Hope this helps!

yeh that makes sence, so basicly you can change slipons if you desire to, if most use the same spot, im just thinking i like the quill t3 sounding cans but in the future i may try some other slip on out if one comes up cheap,

i see you have a 3/4 system, what are they as i cant find any info out on them?

Sorry for the late reply. Didn't have the notify option on.

A 3/4 system lets you keep the stock front header and the rest of the system is replaced with headers and a can from the manufacturer. In my situation BOS exhausts.
