OK, this is for everyone who spends too long in front of a screen.
If you get eyestrain, headaches etc: Every hour, stop, look up from your monitor, hold your thumb up nearish your face, and focus on it. Then focus on something far away. Then back to the thumb. Keep doing this as fast as you can for about 20-30 times. Back to work. This worked really well for me. It doesnt cure eyestrain, but, if you do it all the day, you dont get the strain. The idea is that your eyes are not designed to be focused up so close all time, and they are used to changing focus lengths, so they sort of cramp up if they are locked up close for ages. ![]() |
