Default New tail tidy...what to do with the tool kit?

Hi,

Got my self a nice little tail tidy off the ebay from EvoTech (does make the difference, no pics just yet though).

As good as it looks i've no longer have the under seat holder for the tool kit and tank prop (would like to keep it there or it will go walkies at home)

What have people done to sort this? I'm thinking of hacking up the old plate holder and some how attaching the kit holder to the underside of the rear seat.

Any ideas on what can be done, pictures would be great???

Cheers and beers,

Neil

Cool...does the job. Do you still have the tank prop with it? Worried it may slip down under the front seat and cause an issue?

Cheers,

Neil

A bit off topic - I got myself one of these evo tech tail tidys from ebay too and they are top notch, well thought out and have none of the problems reported by hamicad or r&g owners.

Ok.....

If you have removed tha old tail what have you done with it? Kept it as a memento, thrown it or hacked it up?

Will probably hack mine up (too keep the tool kit) and have it riveted onto the new tail tidy (Assuming I can drill a couple of holes without taking it all off or drilling thorugh the under side on the fender ).

put it under the front seat, but make sure you have left the allen keys out so you can remove the sear.

RU sure you had to remove it, I managed to fit my tail tidy under the existing crudguard with no problems, I still store the tool kit in its original place.

I haven't removed the plastic underside, just just the old plate holder, it's quite a big chunk of plastic (on a k3), that started by the seat release, under the seat and then down and out at the back. I don't think I had much of a choice but to remove the lot.

I'm pretty sure it was one piece....will check tonight.
