My rear tyre is quite flat, that is there is a lot more ware on the centre of the tyre than the outside, this is due to a very cautious previous owner, I have not ridden the bike much since owning the bike from just before xmas because of the weather, and was wondering if this sort of ware will affect the handling when the dryer roads eventually arrive and I start to ride the bike as it should be ridden .

Yes, it will affect the handling. The bike will feel slower to turn then start to tip quickly after the first bit and it will try to follow ridges in the road.
These effects are both made worse when the wear is on the front rather than the rear. |

I picked up my K4 in Feb and you could mesure right angles with the rear tyre. It was a right cow to get it to turn in.
Got some conti road attacks fitted and WOW what a difference. Dont even think about it JUST GET SOME NEW RUBBER ![]() |
