Default Bah !!

Not having a good day.
Got up this morning sun was shining, , whilst putting my leathers on, Mrs Tricky informs me we have no food and need to go shopping. So off I go to the supermarket, 1 hours riding time lost.

Never mind, sun is still shining, tinted visor, vented leathers, off I go.
End of the street fuel light starts flashing so I pull in for some gas, just as I'm coming out after paying some big boys on cool sportsbikes pull in, give them a nod and have a quick chat.

So I put my helmet on, except my gloves are still inside , sportsbikes blokes trying not to laugh, sort my helmet out, start the bike up, put my gloves on.
Ready to blast off in to the sunset, except left foot is a bit to quick and gets first before left hand has got the clutch fully in. Bike lurches across forecourt and stalls
Sportsbike lads are now rolling on the floor

Pulls out the garage and the heavens open, water dripping down my neck and through the vents in my jacket by the bucket full and can I see bugger all through my tinted visor.

Anyway as soon as I've dried out a bit and had a cuppa, it waterproofs on and back out there !

What...

... sitting on top of a bookcase considering how best to go insane?!

(Sorry, watched Mel Gibson's performance of Hamlet last night, no don't laugh, it's actually feckin good!)

Personally Tricky, I think you were simply doing you bit for care in the community - acting the loon just to give some sportsbiker's egos a bit of a much needed boost. How generous of you.

It's days like that which make you fully appreciate the value of a good cuppa.

Came good in the end, swapped my leather for a textile jacket and tried again.
It stopped raining pretty soon after I started out again.
Nice little 50 mile pootle, dropped in on sum old friens en-route, even found some dry car free twisties to play on.
