Default Toothache

Do we have a dentist in the house????

I have got horrid toothache in my lower left incisor, caused I think by over-zealous brushing, such that the gum has receded, leaving a gap tween the gum and the enamel. It hurts - a lot - and it's driving me crazy. Anyone got any cures, quack or otherwise

Bit of brandy held over the tooth use to work on the pain for me.
Get one of those oral B 3D leccy toothbrushes from now on, stops you brushing too harshly. Flossing will help reduce any inflammation if you dont already.

Go see a dentist!

Nip in the chemist and get some oil of clovers.

Cheers Mark.

I suffer with this as well.
This is what I do to manage/combat it.

Change my toothbrush as soon as the bristles start to curl up at the edges so not to agravate it (Tried one of these sonic toothbrushes, just made mine worse)

Use something like sensodyne toothpaste if it gets to painfull, but normally use a good toothpaste that fights gum disease and tartar etc (Colgate Total works well) as its actually plaque and crap that is knackering your gums.

Alway use a good mouthwash

If its really painfull then probably best see your dentist anyway.

Sensodyne.
