Hi guys,
I took my hugger off my old SV that was written off and have now put it on my new SV - like in another post it was a bit of a bugger to do but got it on in the end! I think the standard screws from the chainguard that I used to put it on with are different to the ones that fitted it to the old bike though (forgot to keep them - doh!) and now the hugger seems very close to the rear tyre. I'm worried that when leaning over its going to scrape the wheel and send me off, am I being paranoid? A big part of me knows that the wheel should not / does not change alignment during cornering but I don't want to find out the hard way! Cheers for any replies, Matt ![]() |

How close - touching or a centimetre, or less?
When I changed over tyres the new ones were much closer to the hugger than the standard ones, as close as 2mm at the top, and I had no troubles with it rubbing. |
