As per this thread , Dead Battery
http://forums.sv650.org/viewtopic.php?t=36492 I've got a cheap charger from Halfords but the problem is when I remove the battery the datatool Cat 3 alarm goes off and no matter what mode I put the alarm in, I can't cancel the Alarm ![]() ![]() Phoned the local dealer and they dont know how to get past the alarm in order to take the battery out and recharge it, How I wish I had a garage, Anyone here have a similar problem and know a work-around Thanks in advance for any help |

Don't know if you have had a look at the Datatool site. Probably worth doing that.

Was looking in the Suzuki manual and it advises to remove the battery when not using the bike for long periods, suppose you can't do that with an alarm fitted |
