Default Renthal bar issues

After an argument with the tarmac following a heated discussion with some diesel on a roundabout ......

...... I have purchased a renthal bar to replace the now rather bent standard item. I was hoping to keep the renthal at the original length but the cables were too short so I had to cut 30mm off each end to get it to fit. If there is a way to fit renthals without chopping, by re-routing cables etc. I may consider buying another one.

Anyone else done this and can it be done?

Cheers

Chris

Simple, don't cut the ends off. I have approx. an inch of Renthal bar sticking out either end on mine; no bar end weights though. I have gold bars on a yellow curvy, so the sticky out bits match nicely, IMHO.

Renthal makes loads of different bars. Which one have you got.

Cheers

How is this an "issue"?

The Renthal 'bars aren't the standard Suzuki ones, ergo they aren't identical, genrally this is what is wanted, 'bars that aren't the same as the standard ones.

If you want wider bars you'll need longer cables/wires etc.
