Been cig free since November. Smoked 22yrs. All in the mind. Smokings band in enclosed spaces up here now so going to the pub is no problem........ all my mates smoke heavy,at first I was sinking pints like its water tho', getting "rubbered" far too early and needing my missus to get me up the road. Put on a stone in weight, but thats summit I can get rid of if I can be bothered. It really does feckin stink. No more dry-wretching every morning or after meals. Brilliant.

Maybe try not telling anybody you are giving up, just do it and make it a competition , got me past the worst of it and impressed the feck out of myself with the will power.

Bought a 2nd bike too .............. so I can't AFFORD to smoke. :P
