Default R&G's?

Does anybody know where I can get hold of the R&G crash protecter bobbin ends only? Everywhere I look the only want to sell the complete unit? I also need a couple of those tiny faring clips for my 01 Sv.
Any advice?
Mitch

OK, have phoned R&G and they no longer make or hold spares for the old style bolt-through-the-engine crash protectors that I have on my 01 SV650. However, they offered me a 50% discount on an upgraded set which cost me £42. Not a bad deal and if you are in the market for a set and you own a 2002 or older 650 then maybe you could "upgrade" too!

if you prefure the 'through' kind then get the GSC Moko protector. 80quid, but work really well. Or you could get some 'Moto' sliders from the states.

Yup, the big brackety things are pretty ugly on a non-faired bike. Didn't like 'em either. But for £42 I'd have them, and sell them, and get Motosliders

I did not like them at first, but now I think they add a bit of industrial look to the bike, which works for me.
BTW they must have a good reason to change the clean (and cheap) design to something more complicated and more difficult to build keeping the same price (as far as I remember).
