Default Tacho and tail light problem

I have finally managed to get the bike started after replacing rec\reg, eletronic ignition unit, ignition coil and 5 bulbs.

Now i find the tacho is not working and no rear lights. The brake lights are ok. i can't figure what d problem is.

Sadly I have no idea,Is yours a pointy or curvy? I'll have a look in my handbook!! Might be worth checking all the fuses anyway,as you had a regulator/regulator prob!?

On the pointy, there is one fuse that protects the whole electrical system, and one fuse for all the instruments.(other fuses for lights etc too.) So I would imagine it's a different set-up on a curvy, due to it being Carb'd,not F.I.

I'd also re-check all the connections on the components you've replaced, just in case!

also bear in mind that some fuses dont look like they have blown but actually have, so make sure you check the blade fuses my either swapping with new fuses or electrically checking them. I know this sounds obvious but an AA man was stumped until he rechecked a fuse that didnt look blown!

There are 3 circuits that go into the ignition key, i beleave that one of them control the lights. Haynes manual should show you something like that.

hi speedy, no luck. The fuses are ok. I have been through the connectors. Not sure where to look next. The brakes and tail light share the same light bulb. I have changed them. Still only the brake lights works. I don't even know where to start with the tacho.

All the lights work except the taillight. Even the number plate is ok
