Just wondering before I buy a scorpian can as do a lot of mileage a year.

Cheers Steve

I doubt the original will get much louder. And a Scorpion will be louder. Saying that, when I fitted my Akropovic system,it was only slightly louder than stock..........
UNTIL I TOOK THE BAFFLE OUT!!!!!!!!!!

Now its LOUD!!! And is great for car alarms and making people aware of your presence!

Scorpion can's don't need to be repacked like others but nothing wrong with being loud.

i repacked my scorpian but messed it up so it became a stubby....too loud imo...so itll be sold with the bike as an extra to sweeten the deal....blueflam road legal (honest) is on there now...

never heard of a standard getting louder but it might...i dont know how they work to be honest, do they have wadding?/p[acking whatever you wanna call it?

Add some rust and it'll get louder as it disintegrates

+1

my V&H is like a straight pipe,

at 15k when I put it on, is was a little louder than stock
by 40k it had a nice rumble
by 75k it was loud and needed repacking
by 100k it was obnoxiously loud, and not only was the packing completely gone, the baffles were starting to break up

at 125k, it's obnoxiously loud kinda like a hollow echo chamber

I may put my stocker back on

My Renegade is at this moment in time, a straight through exhaust. Zero baffle, zero packing. It's quite loud, but I like it.

Loud cans are not nice. They don't save lives , just anti-social .
Standard can doesn't sound that bad.

Cheers
