Hi guys,
Yesterday finished my second trackday and my fun was ruined by the pegs going on the tarmac. The Hhhrrraaatch! sound was disconcerting, let alone me being forced to lift the inside leg completely off the peg and not allowing me to sit properly on the bike. I have the curvy naked model and also one question: Is there a point in fitting higher rear sets without having problems with the exhaust? I know monsters have this problem. Do the "S" rearsets solve the problem completely? I know they are higher and further back but don't know how much. Thanks in advance for any replies. |

I had my Viper exhaust down on the road, but that was quite a fat can, touched down just after the pegs. I would get a high level if you're that worried about it, but if you have a stock can then they have a cut out anyway so you should be fine

rearsets or jack up plates for the ones on your bike. that will sort it out.

What sort of can do you have??? The stock one might be a bit close, but an aftermarket oval one should be fine. I have an oval can on mine, I did a trackday recently too
