Default How i fitted a steering damper to my GSXR set up

Here are some pics of the standard K2 steering damper i fitted to my SRAD 750 yokes and using my horn bracket. The bracket needed to be bent a bit to stop the damper touching the forks when moving lock to lock

I think the horn bracket is man enough for the task as it is braced BUT do this at your own risk

The damper is nicely out of site behind all the fairings and can only be seen from the top

Right side

Left side, fairng removed

Frong view, between forks

I don't think the horn bracket is meaty enough for the job. Something more substantial made out of billet would be prefered.
How's the low speed handling?
