But will it actually be any fun to play? I am still not convinced by bike arcade games... and GT4 was such a disappointment...

I reckon it will be if the other GT titles are anything to go by (apart from GT4, which I also thought was )......would be interesting to know if any of the dudes who designed the game are bikers or not....would hope so!

I hope so too! Think it will be a game to "try before you buy"....!

I have hardly played GT4 - I used to use GT3 purely for drifting towards the end and it just cant be done properly in GT4

I'm waiting to play it before buying. Bike games rarely get the handling right, even if the tracks are modelled to minute detail. TT Superbikes is the only one that has got it spot on to my mind and that would benefit from being on the xbox, so you could use the shoulder triggers for more subtle braking control.

Also, why is it that they can make the car game so hugely comprehensive, but omit things like the SV, from what is effectively Gran Turismo with bikes? Riding Spirits II managed to cover most bikes (even if the handling is odd). The whole reason I tolerate GT's "less than perfectly realistic" handling/crashes is that I can play with mates and we can all select our real world cars and then race them through city streets or round the nurburgring.

The graphics do look stunning though.
