indeed, not sure which year he has but it's a post 02 design, I've had two Daytona's myself and six T5's, know the bikes quite well as I've done some work on just about all the models from Triumph, what are you after?

Cheers Mark.

I am looking for a bike capable of doing some light touring, something comfortable enough to ride longer than an hour which can carry a pillion, preferably full fairing but not essential and something that has some gutts (for carrying lard **** and pillion).

The bike looks pre dated in the pictures, like its never had a face lift...not seen one close up so will reserve judgement....my only concern is why are they offering a bike thats worth over 7 grand for something just short of 6...

Cheers

Rich

Rich The 955i is being replaced by a bigger engine model possibly along the lines of the 675 and they want to shift the existing stock before the launch of the new model-------hence huge discounted prices

They did a similar thing with the Sprint ST when they upped the engine from 955 to 1050

I bought the "older" ST with the 955i engine similar to the Daytona but 118bhp and 155mph A brilliant touring bike complete with hard luggage and you dont even notice a pillion ,plus heated grips and a jack-plug are standard

No regrets for the change from me,still getting 50mpg cruising at 4500rpm[75mph] and loads of roll-on power for overtaking without changing down, but if you want to drop 2-3 gears it will do nearly 100mph in 3rd with no silly lurching or front wheel lift Admitted it looks "dated" but it is the same as the SV in as much as you have curvy and pointed with similar performance differences but higher up the scale in the case of Triumph
