Default Indicators

My beloved SV has started playing up the last few days. When i put the left indicator on the front one flashes quicker than normal and the rear doesn't come on at all, today the right has also started doing this. Whats weird though is if i put the hazards on thety flash at normal speed. Anyone got any ideas how i can fix this?

The transistorised flashers are designed to simulate old bimetalic strip units so they flash faster when there is less current going to the indicators ie there is a bulb out or disconnected. I'm guessing the hazzards controller is designed not to, basically because if you have them on you already know there is something wrong
Indicator flasher circuits can also screw up tho, mine has and flashes once slow then the rest fast despite the full compliment of bulbs. No real problem though.

The rear bulbs went puff. Change the rear bulbs.
Make sure that yu get bulbs with the same wattage as lower wattage will get you the bulbs flashing quicker. I changed my stock flashers for Buell items which were lower wattage and they started to flash too quick. Changed bulbs to highr wattage ala SV (I can't remeber their watt value right now) and everything went back to normal.

I've inspected it closer on my break. The guy who had the bike before me installed mini indicators at the back so i had a look at it. The wires were under the pillion seat which is where my chain goes. There are two similar connectors I assume one for the left and one for the right. I took the left ones out and put them back and both indicators on the left work again. The right however still wont work so imstill stumped
