At home waiting for a reply from an interview. Just so happened the company that I was waiting on were one of the main insurers of the towers!

And that is the company I work for today.

Ironing at home, watching a video, it stopped (on its own) and automatically went onto Sky news Channel, just after the first hit. I was really weird. I was hooked all day.

My first week working at HPI.

My then girlfriend texted me to say what was happening, I didn't believe her at first. I cannot get over the people watching the first strike thinking it was an accident live on TV and what they must of been thinking when the other plane struck.

I think my sister did business with a firm based at the top of the tower 2.

i can remember trying all sorts of websites that might have streaming live news feeds, the whole system seemed to have jammed to a halt. i can also recall as the day unfolded and it became apparant who was behind it and feeling geniunely worried at what the american response would be.

the bizarre thing is i got very accurate information from a football forum! a regular poster worked for Meridian TV in Southampton, he was in the newsroom relaying accurate information to us.

At Sema disaster recovery centre in Hodesdon.

Watching the live coverage on Sky News in the break room when the second plane hit, remember feeling very sick.

Every time I went to that place there was some kind of tragedy.
I was there when the Hatfield train crash happened too.
