Default My first spill - Ouch!

Hi all!

Just got my sk1 on Saturday. WooHoo!

Had my license for about 2 years but only got the cash together recently for my first bike. Plumped for an SV! Yay!

Fell off it yesterday. Bugger!

Only a bruised hip and elbow for me but the bike took a bit of a thump, even though it was low speed - Bloody Gravel.

Seems I've snapped off my left bar end, indicator and footpeg/gear assembly. And cracked and scraped the left fairing.

I've been thinking that it might be cheaper to replace the parts with 3rd party products rather than get the original Suzuki parts.

Apart from the fairing, cos I want it to match the other side....

Anyone have any comments about the parts prices?

Cheers

Mark

Hi Mark and welcome to the bike world (bumps and all)

update your profile with a location as people like to know which area you're from.

As to parts, well as mentioned ebay is a good source, but also the guys on here have all sorts of bits in their sheds so stick a post up on the "wanted" section, make sure you say which model year etc.

Cheers Mark.

Sorry its the right one which is scatched have a good left one looking forward from the seat. The right one has a ground down corner under the mirror and scatches from a low speed spill. If your interested can PM you a photo, might have trouble getting the flush fit indictor of though as I had to use bath sealant to fit it to a curvy
