Default sv stolen/recovered

bike has been stolen and now recovered. the toerags that stole it have cut the ignition switch wires around the headstock. wired them back as they should be i think but the damn thing still has no power. no fuses blown etc etc. the bike has a 357meta alarm on it also, so i was wondering if the control box for the alarm has been damaged when the wires were cut.
anybody any ideas???????

Did they thieving basT%$ds butcher the ignition barrel? IIRC their is a resistor in there somewhere and they might have damaged it.

Cheers
