A really stupid question...
What do the rubber sheathes (sp) on the springs used to hold aftermarket exhaust systems together actually do?
I thought maybe to help stop corrosion but they seem to trap dirt and moisture more than anything. Maybe to stop the springs being broken by flying stones, etc? |
