Default cage as in car

I really hate the word 'cage' to describe a car or 'cager' to describe car driver.

That is all.

So being wordist, do you accept that your aversion to the word cage has left you open to bad feelings, whenever confronted with the word cage as used to describe a car?

Car drivers have been referred to as Cagers since i first got smitten by motorcycles 32 years ago - so I suppose you just have to accept it as biker terminology

A little - yes. Especially because most of the time it is meant as a derogatry (sp.?) term. One chap I used to work with referred to me as an 'organ donor' which I didn't think was very nice.

I've known doctors and nurses that use the term organ donor for bikers.
They can have our kidneys, corneas and hearts, but they'll never get our livers!!
