Have a good ride guys. I need to be back for 10am as the Mrs is doing this 'Run for Life' at 11am in Southend.

I didn't see any takers for the 7:30am thrash across Essex (and I really can't blame you ) so I guess I better work out where I'm going or I'll only get lost, get home late and have to face the Mrs in her running shoes.

Default Them were the days

Went to the classic bikes at B/Bridge and when I look at the machinery that I was happy to do 100mph 35-40years ago
I cringe, the narrow tyres, iffy suspension, and lack of braking The magical ton figure is so easily achieved on most of todays bikes it has taken away the excitement, apart from dodging the cameras. Then the village bobby couldn't catch you on his push bike or much else they had at the time------------------Them were days lad

I rode past several rickerty old (sorry Classic) bikes this morning - it was great seeing them all out. Can't say I saw many doing over 50mph though! That may have been down to most of the riders having bought their machinery from new
