Default Freebies

Question is, should I use these Carbone Lorraine pads which were free courtesy of the offer with Metz z6 tyres or stick with Suzuki pads when the time comes. Some say I should stick with the Suzuki's (amidst mutterings about pad and disk compatibility) whilst others say use them. Anyone here had experience of these? any good?

Very good, but unless you're dissatisfied with the stock pads, don't bother changing till they're worn out.

Hi,

I have just had some Metzeler Z6's fitted too (Wednesday this week) - I had forgotten that I had heard about this offer of free brake pads - is it still possible for me to get some? How do I go about it?

Thanks in advance,
Matt

Get a form from the tyre fitter (SMD at Leigh had piles on the desk) and fill it in, send it with receipt and hope the offer is still on!

Hmmm, wish they'd mentioned it when I got the tyres fitted! Its not that far away but I'll want someone to tell me its worth going back to get the form before I make the trip! i.e., that A) the offers still on B) the brake pads are worth having!

Then again the place I got the tyres fitted offered to change just the rear tyre to a Z6, leaving the 5 year old, concrete Z4 on the front. Erm, didn't have to think long about that one!

Carbone Lorraine pads are superior to OEM ones - but it's your shout......
