Default Just had a call from my dealer

Yippee, they are delivering my new car on Tuesday. Vectra SRI 150.

Can anyone tell me what the feck PS is a measure of?. Is it more or less that of a good old fashioned brake horse. At least you can't metrificate a horse. They are the same here as in froggy land or is a PS a weak froggy horse. Well whatever it is I get 150 of them with 320 whatever (NM?) of torque.

Already told the lad that the insurance won't let him near it. Lie of course it is insured for any driver, but I being blamed for spoling his fun.

1 PS = 75 kp·m/s = 0.73549875 kW = 0.9863201652997627 hp (SAE)

What he means is that a PS is a "midges" shy of a hp

To Convert PS (hp DIN) to Bhp Multiply PS By 0.9863

A PS is a Kraut horsey, not a Froggy one.

PS = PferdeStarke.
