At first thought this was instant justice but if the stuff about him cleaning the cars and leaving them to be found is true then he wasn't a real scumbag, just ill.

That's a bit sad really, isn't it. The guy obviously had some kind of compulsion disorder that was either not recognised or ignored. He never stole anyone's private vehicle, he never committed violent crime to get the cars.............there are plenty of scumbags who do both of those who far more deserve to die than he did.

Hard to tell but it doesn't seem like he was a bad bloke at all. I'd like to know after having been arrested so many times whether or not the police tried to get him any help. I'd like to think they did but this is Blair's Britain where suicidal people are given ASBOS to stop them going near bridges. Madness.

I'd have gladly let him borrow my car once a week if he washed it and polished it before returning it.

Looks like "the system" let him down.
