Default Radiator Swaping

So I've read that the radiators on the 06 650's are narrower by 2 inches over the previous versions.

Anyone ever "upgrade" to these on older bikes? Easy conversion? Anything need to be modified in the rest of the cooling system to compensate?

Do you think anybody would notice if you had 2 inches less?

Less likely to hitthe ground if you drop the bike, i suppose. Does look better on a nekkid as well.

Haven't a clue. But I reckon not, it'd make more sense to design the radiator to fit the old points.

The 05 radiators are narrower too. I think the pipes are different but new can fit old and old can fit new.
I couldnt find a second hand rad at all when i was looking.

I can say that it didnt hit the floor when the bike fell off the stand this morning! handy as it cost £300 last month.
