Sooooo... I'm not doing too well in my attempts to convince people up here that it'll be great, and my usual gig-going mates aren't of for the bikey side... Anyone else going that I can just, y'know, follow around all weekend and pretend to know?

Incidentally, the music bill's already fantastic... The Almighty and Pitchshifter on the reform kick, Skindred and Hundred Reasons, plus Paradise Lost if you like that sort of thing... Various And Local Supports. So that's another temptation for me, it's just about good enough to go down for even without the whole bike thing.

We won't be doing the Bash...............we only live 30 miles away, and I refuse to spend three nights sleeping on the mud when I have a perfectly good bed at home

................and you can't get a day pass

But if you fancy meeting up in Stratford one day over the weekend for a coffee and to talk bikes for hours on end, that would be nice!

Not going but interested to know how The Almighty sound will have a look to see if they're touring else where.

I'm only 13 miles away, but I'll be at home! I'm up for a meet in Stratford, however it's milling with Police that weekend - ride home isn't usually fun.
Couple of years ago we popped over to visit my Mum in Warwick, got followed all the way home, cop obviously thought we'd come from the bash - if he'd done a PNC check he'd known we were local.

They were fantastic in Glasgow last time round, on the Liekemia fundraiser thing. Playing 5 dates in December as well. Sometimes you just feel like you've lost 10 years overnight...
