ok peeps so what do you know about the firestorm? anyone got one? ive just found a new'un for a bargain price and i dunno if i should go for it or not

You need to pm Nick Lord mate. He has one and loves it. For what it's worth..if Vee motors are your thing and don't want an out and out race rep...the Firestorm is a great choice.

You want it? Buy it; that price is good

Really nice road bike and very well built. Totally reliable too - the engine is relatively unstressed. Forks are little soft as standard, but not so soft as an SV or my Hornet.

As someone else pointed out, the only downside is an unhealthy appetite for unleaded if you give it the beans. Ride relaxed and it aint so bad.

Plenty of go and a comfortable, too. I know a few people who really like them. I think Nick Lord has one in Repsol colours. Try a PM to him.
