Has anyone else had this happen on their pointy If so how did you cure it. I have a K5 which has done 2300 miles and the brake pipe has worn through the paint on the swingarm.
Dealer has never seen it happen before, has repainted the swingarm and put a foam sticker on the swingarm where it rubs, 150 miles later and i am nearly through the foam sticker ![]() |

I have exactly the same thing happening, but I have a K3 which is a polished silver S/arm, so it doesn't really matter, to be honest it is the only clean bit on it!

Same happened on mine, even to the point where there seems to be an indentation on the swingarm.
As it happened when I changed footrest hangers the pipe was pulled tighter, so no longer touches, but that doesn't solve your problem. |

Same on my K5, apart from i have a hugger so it's rubbing the paint of the hugger instead of the swing arm
