Last week a gsxr was in front of me on the way home from work.
It was raining - no matter how fast/slow I go I am not able to lean the bike over more than ~20 degrees. Anything above that my tryres start to skid all over the place. I'm on Z6's , same was on the Road Attacks. But the guy in front of me was able to lean over completely - as I would be able on a dry surface... |

Personally I find that I can lean over quite far in the rain - but only if there is a good strong gale blowing to support my tiny little frame.
![]() Oh, we're talking leaning bikes! ![]() Um, in that case, actually, pretty much the same as dry on the Blue 'Blade and that's on M1s. But definately not as far on the SV - though I must admit to not actually knowing what tyres that's running (never had to change them yet)! |

I would tend to agree with Viney - its very likely to all be in your mind (if the tyres are in a good condition of course) - I was told during my lessons (and have ridden like it where I can) to ride in the wet as you would in the dry....

I quite enjoy riding in the rain. The almost teasing way you have to handle the bike gives some sort of a high especially when motoring a bit ![]() ![]() Cheers Ben |

I keep trying everytime... well I try it twice - almost do a highsider, bike wobbles for a few secs until I get it back under control... |

Till you fall over-------------stupid boy
![]() But not being a proper biker I prefer not to ride in the rain, alas when the situation arises being smooth,no harsh acceleration, braking or cornering and respect for my self preservation means that I probably have about 80% of my normal lean |
