They get excellent reviews from the bike mags, Its rated almost as good as the ac-11 which one an award not long back and it outscores alot more expensive lids...

I bought one today, its superb so far... Can get some real bargains on them on ebay as well. Lots of different versions but for various reasons I went with the flowerpower ltd edition

I have a CS12 and its a good helmet for the money. Mines the 05 Tribal design. My girlfriend also had the Flower power design when she had her scooter.

I've got a tribal too, bought June 06. I like the looks but it steams up all the time even in summer, I have to keep the visor open one notch. My Nitro never did that.

My only moan about the CS12 (which I've had for a year now) is that it stinks, badly. Other helmets I've worn (for much longer riding times) never smelt anything like that.

The foggy guard is good in the winter but best to lose it in the summer or it gets a bit too hot. Not bad for £75, though I'd probably go for somethig else next time - a shoei raid 2 or the hjc ac11

the ac-11 has detachable lining which you can throw in the washing machine.

It's more the foam/padding that they use. I had an Arai for years and only washed the inside once, even then it didn't smell *too* bad. The CS12 is minging though. Despite this fact, I still can't be bothered to wash it so far.

i have an AC11 Creature which i love, it's about a year old, washed the interior already, really feels new....
also just got [couple of months ago] the new AC12 Carbon Vader and lemme tell ya' this thing is LIGHT!!! weighs less the the AC11, and they are pretty light...but, the AC12 is a 'windy' lid...a lot of ventilation inside the helmet!!!
