Anyway, a freind of mine has been using the latest beta on IE7 and he said that he has not experianced any issues as of yet. Thats not to say its perfect, neither is firefox.

Give it a try, its still prolly better than IE6, even in beta.

I'd wait until it's out of Beta.

What he said. Personally if you can wait a bit longer. Wait till MS release the first Service Pack for it and then upgprade.

Yes I am paranoid

Better off sticking with what you got, or use firefox (I use it at home). At work we have IE6 but I am testing IE7 with Vista, IE 7 has some useful features but it is rather like firefox, and it is a little buggy with Vista, with XP Pro its not too bad.

Overall its ok, but not worth getting until its out of beta.

Cheers

I'd use firefox or Opera if I was you... eithers going to be better then ie in most areas. And if you still fine some site don't work then there is a 'ie' plug in for firefox so it will process that site with the ie engine. Don't know about Opera though...

It seems to be a bit Opera biased, but if it's all true...

Time to give Opera another shot then, haven't played with it since version 5, IIRC. I've been using Firefox for over a year now (both on Windows and MacOS) and overall I'm satisfied, but only a fool doesn't change his mind...
