As a general rule,wars are fought by poor people for the benefit of rich people.We have a long and dishonourable tradition of ignoring war veterans and their families,and our treatment of foriegn former British military people is an extreme example of this.

We (well, our wretched excuse of a government) are still screwing our colonial forces over.

Ghurkas, arguably some of the best soldiers in the world, don't even get a pension Not exactly like it would cost much either.

Seems giving the Vicky Pollards of the country and their army of barstards enough benefits to fund their nicotine habbit it considered a better use of tax payers money

indian soldiers who served with us in ww2 dont get any pension or benefits of us,yet those who fought for the japs get a pension of the indian government,ghurkas are prime example of people not getting what there owed,yet you can do fook all and get everything for free of this country regardless of what you have done

My grandad refused his war pension, he served in India and Ceylon and wouldn't take whagt was denied to others. Really annoyed my grandma
