oil level
i have a sv650s, with the lower fairing..... do i have to take it off to see the oil window????

If you can see the sight glass then no, if you can't, then yes.

I have a curvy with lowers,
It is difficult to see the level through the sight hole. I tend to check whilst in the garage and use a torch. Left hand to pull the bike against my left shoulder whilst knelt on the floor. I used to remove the RH lower as it only takes about 2 minutes to remove. but then again I am showing off and use an air ratchet. but once I was confident that I could hold up the bike whilst knelt down it no longer became an issue
