Bike Dealers - SV650.org

Hi everyone, i hope you are all well.

Does anyone know of any motorcycle dealers in the Kingston-Upon-Thames area? When i go back to uni, me and my girlfreind are going to start looking for an SV (i sort of need one my Xmas to get me to and from external exam sites - the transport the uni provides is unreliable and public transport takes too long). I figured looking closer to where i live is a good idea.

Any help much apreciated.

New or secondhand?

New, there is Wheelpower in Raynes Park, there are quite a few secondhand dealers around. Have a look on BikeTrader for SVs, and it will show you where the garages are.

I'm in Southfields, so not that far away.

Tippets in Surbiton are supposed to be very good.

In fact, I bought my first bike (an ickle Honda 125) from there, they even delivered it to me for free (I live in Chelmsford, Essex) as I had only just done my CBT and was a bit nervous of finding a route avoiding the M25 and Dartford crossing!

Edit: just re-read your post, Tippets are a Honda dealership, although I am not sure what they're 2nd hand stock is like.

Thanks for the info guys, i'll look into that. I was aware of Tippets Honda, i think they do other bikes in thier used stock aswell (i saw a lovely green zxr400 sitting outside last time i went past...but im resisting to buy anything other than an SV).

There's one or two dealers around Twickenham/Feltham way, but from what I've seen they're stock collection is pretty poor so I'm not going to bother mentioning them...

Otherwise for an SV try West London Suzuki in Sunbury perhaps.

could do worse than try Steve Jordans at Great Bookham, just the other side of Guildford

Doesn't sell bikes.

Start looking now with plenty of time to spare and buy private.You will save shedloads over dealer prices as they seem to ramp up used prices to make new stock look cheap.I'm sure there's plenty of willing hands around SW London/Surrey to give you advice if you need any help.

Lamba's Motorcycles in Carshalton isn't too far away and they are a Suzuki dealership so they have quite a few SVs. They are a good bunch.
